  • Reflexology
During a Reflexology session a variety of specialized techniques which feel similar to a combination of massage and acupressure are applied to reflexes to promote balance and  mind - body integration.  It is a relaxing way to promote your body’s natural healing abilities through nerve stimulation, while improving circulation and encouraging immune system balance.  It has been practiced throughout the world in ancient cultures including ancient Egypt, China, India, and Native America.  The name "reflexology" is a relatively new term, which is used to collectively refer to ancient methods based on energy, as well as newer methods based on neurophysiology.

This stress relieving therapy promotes the alpha state of relaxation which in turn improves circulation and restores a state of balance enabling the body to heal itself. Each session starts with a warm aromatherapy foot bath, then progresses to a cushioned massage table with a lavender eye pillow, warm towels, and may end with heated basalt stones.  This therapy is available as one hour focused sessions, or ninety minute complete sessions*

It is used throughout the world to promote circulation, anti-aging, and relaxation, while combating stress. Cool LaStone Facial Reflexology
This therapy harmonizes the facial reflexology session with the benefits of cooled marble and amethyst stones.  The cold functions as a powerful decongestant, pushing fluid and waste out of the overworked, chronically tense or inflamed tissue.  It also increases micro-circulation which affects change on a cellular level, and actually promotes cellular regeneration, while improving muscle tone, and acting as an anti-inflammatory.  This combined with specialized reflexology techniques induces the anti-aging effect along with improving the health of your skin.  This refreshing therapy is one hour, and is followed by a steam.*

  • Ayurvedic Therapies
Ayurveda teaches us that our bodies are microcosms of the universe, and what is throughout is also within.  The five elements exist with three combinations, also known as the doshas:  vata (air/ether),  pitta (water/fire) and kapha (earth/water). The preponderance of the doshas within each of us is as unique as our face or thumbprint.  This knowledge allows for personalization, to create a unique healing experience. *

    Ayurvedic Cranio-Ear-Sinus Therapy

    NASYA
The ancient medical science of ayurveda teaches us that nasya therapy can help heal ear disorders, sinus problems, mental disorders, neck stiffness, migraine headache, dryness of the nose, TMJ, memory loss, convulsions, hoarseness, colds, anxiety, fear, insecurity and nervousness. This therapy involves applying a few drops of eucalyptus-based herbal oil into the nostrils. According to Ayurveda, the nose is the doorway to the brain and to consciousness. (Nasya is best after netti pot therapy, which involves warm salt water running through the nostrils.  It is recommended to use your netti pot WITH DISTILLED WATER in the morning or just before your appointment). *
Nasya is not suitable for those experiencing acute indigestion, diarrhea, full stomach, pregnancy, menstruation, TB, or immediately before/after shower.

    KARNA PURANA
Karna Purana therapy is then applied, which is a flow of warm, herbal oil on to a specific marma point at the top of the ear, which can help liquefy earwax, lubricate the ear canal, remove dryness, promote toxins and debris to exit the ear canal, help reduce most ear pain and alleviate ear infections, jet-lag, and assists in aligning the bones in the head, much like cranio-sacral therapy. Marma points on the head and face are activated and a sense of clarity and wellness is renewed.  The complete therapy lasts one hour.  Please allow time after your session to relax with some tea in our waiting area before going out into the elements. *
Karna purana is not suitable for those experiencing a full stomach, pregnancy, menstruation, or removal of eardrum

  • Ayurvedic Aromatherapy

Chakras are energy centers in the body, also known as wheels of light.  There are seven prominent  chakras within the body, with the first (root) chakra starting at the base of the spine, and the seventh chakra at the crown of the head known as the anterior fontanel.  There are associated colors, emotional states, elements, and organs for each chakra.  Chakras open and close in response to our lifestyle and natural seasons.  Much like everythng else in life, each chakra is ideally at a happy medium: without excess or closure.  Yoga, massage, energy work, meditation, marma point stimulation, and essential oils are all effective ways to bring balance to the chakras.  Prana is the word for life force in Ayurvedic practice.  All of these things stimulate the natural flow of prana.  Essential oils contain the prana of the plant and harmonize our prana while strengthening our aura.  This specialized Ayurvedic aromatherapy uses formulated pure natural blends for the chakras, developed by Dr. Ravi Ratan that are designed for inhalation and topical use.*

  • Reiki

Reiki is a gentle relaxation technique in which the power of touch is applied in harmony with the ancient practice of energy transfer. Sensory stimulation which occurs from touch produces electrical and chemical changes throughout the body. This sends impulses to the central nervous system which controls all organs and glands in the body. This ancient Japanese therapy restores a meditative state, allowing the daily stress, which attacks your sensitive central nervous system, to melt away and restore a state of balance.   This meditative energy therapy is available as one hour or thirty minutes, and may incorporate aromatherapy, crystal, and gemstone healing.*      Read more
